All know to shutdown the computer. In this article I am
going to say how to create a shutdown shortcut on desktop. This is not a big
matter. Windows has a program called SHUTDOWN.EXE which allows you to easily
create icons to shutdown or restart your computer. Follow the below
instructions to create a shutdown shortcut on desktop.
1. Right click on an open area of the desktop
2. Select New/Shortcut
3. Enter in "shutdown-s-t00" - (no quotes)
4. Press the Next button
5. For the name, enter in anything you like. I just use
shutdown. Click the finish button.
6. For a reboot, enter "shutdown -r-t00"
Note: Every time
the system requires an update, you get a notification asking install updates
later or now.
Here is a simple way to overcome this problem. Whenever you
see an update icon coming up alongside the shutdown button, you can easily
by-pass it or penalize the Microsoft words.
By Following the below steps, you can shut down the Windows
without installing updates.
1. First of all, close all the running programs.
2. Next, press Alt-F4.
3. Now, just click on the pull-down menu. Change the option
from ‘Install updates and shut down’ to simply just ‘Shut down’. Click OK.
Note: If you prefer to stop your computer running but
not turn the power off, click the arrow to the right of the shutdown and, in
the resulting shortcut menu, choose hibernate on a laptop. If you want to
reboot your computer choose Restart.
Nice tip..I really didn't know that...
